Harmonic Analysis

Harmonics are present in most power systems and can be attributed to many different devices such as computers, electronic ballasts, variable frequency drives (VFD), and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).

Although all of these devices produce harmonics it does not mean that they are operating incorrectly. However, we have to deal with the unwanted problems that these devices produce on our power systems.

Using state of the art equipment, Burlington Electrical Testing is able to locate and evaluate these harmonics and then determine if these harmonics are acceptable in the power system or if there are problems being caused by these harmonics.
