An electrical preventative maintenance and testing program lets you discover, and correct, existing and potential hazards that can cause equipment failure and interruption of electrical services.

An electrical preventative maintenance and testing program should consist of routine inspections, testing, and service of power system apparatus such as transformers, cables, circuit breakers and switchgear assemblies; along with associated equipment like control wiring, protective devices and relays, and indicating and metering instruments.
